Kids, children and Women’s Health Physio

Ranjana Rahman provides physiotherapy service at Western Specialist Centre. She specializes in treating different paediatric and women’s health condition.

She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and member of the Continence & Women’s Health Group.

Ranjana is also an experienced women’s health physiotherapists. She understands the unique and often complex array of disorders that women can experience and therefore provide a thorough assessment and expert treatment options catered to your individual needs.

Paediatric conditions she specialises in

For Babies :

Plagiocephaly (flattening of the head, usually to one side), Torticollis (stiffness of the neck), Issues with hips or feet, Delay in development such as slow to roll, crawl or walk and particularly if your child is not showing signs of walking between 9 – 15 months.

For Children :

Delay in development, Foot, knee, hip alignment issues such as In-toeing, Out-toeing, Knock knee or Bowed legs, Toe walking,  Knee pain,  Young athlete concerns,  Scoliosis (curvature of the spine) Diagnosed Conditions & Disabilities: Cerebal palsy, Autism spectrum disorders, including  Asperger’s Syndrome ,Down’s syndrome , Neuromuscular diseases.

Women’s Health Conditions:

Prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, Stress incontinence, Frequency and Urgency, Faecal Incontinence Constipation, Prolapse, Pelvic Pain, Sexual pain, Endometriosis
